Pivot is a wellness tool, not a medical service. While we provide a library of research on tech burnout and healthy habits, this information is for educational purposes only. If you are struggling with your mental or physical health, please consult a medical professional. Any physical activities or “Reality Checks” you choose to do are at your own risk. Pivot takes no responsibility for any injuries, property damage, or death occurring during a challenge/activity and asks that each challenge/activity be conducted safely and sensibly. 2. Your Privacy & Data

 

We value your privacy.

 

  • Your Photos: If you upload photos to Pivot, you still own them. You just give us permission to show them to you (and your Team Ladder, if you choose) within the app.
  • Our Research: The snapshots, summaries, and full articles provided in our library are derived from Open Access Creative Commons sources. While Pivot provides the curation and simplified summaries, the original research remains the intellectual property of its respective authors under their specific open-access licenses. You may use our summaries for personal learning, but please do not scrape or sell our database.

3. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

 

  • Payments: Tier 2 and Tier 3 (Elite) memberships are recurring subscriptions. We also offer various in-app purchases for additional features or content.
  • Billing: You can cancel subscriptions at any time through your app store settings, but we do not offer refunds for partial months or accidental in-app purchases.
  • No Virtual Currency: Please note that Pivot does not use “Pivot Coins” or any form of virtual currency; all transactions are for direct access to app features or content.

4. Community Conduct

 

Pivot is built on real-world connection. We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, bullying, or inappropriate content on our Team Ladders. We reserve the right to remove any user who violates these standards.

 

5. Governing Law

 

Pivot is an Australian company. These terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). Any legal disputes will be handled in the courts of Canberra.
